The Window Project (6 images)

In 2006 I took photos of, and through, a second floor staircase window at a friends house. I sat on the top few steps, and moved sideways along the width of those steps. I was interested in seeing the cycle of the year as it was expressed in the view through the window, and also in the shadows, lights and darkness surrounding the window. I was also interested in how the window itself was part of all that I saw. This window is not a fancy one, but it was the gateway to the world around it.
