I have spend many joyful hours photographing Joan Dye Gussow's garden in Piermont, NY. Joan is one of the grandmothers of the Local Foods and Farms movement. She was a member of the National Organic Standards Board and the Chair of the Nutrition Education department at Columbia University for many years.
