August and September of 2011 were a big deal in the Hudson Valley. Between Hurrican Irene and Tropical Storm Lee, the rain and flooding destroyed many farms, roads and homes. Before Irene, August was also a beautiful time, with lots of flowers in bloom, bees and wasps out pollinating the flowers, vegies growing and ready for harvest, and spiders spinning beautiful webs too.
